Exploring the forts of Brean Down.

Following the walk atop the ridge where you get some great views over weston, you come across run down bunkers scattered along the cliff face. The original buildings are 18th century but there are also remaining WW2 forts. There's lots of information down there about the site's history and It's fascinating to see how nature is reclaiming these buildings.

I definitely recommend checking out these out these pieces of history. :)

"The house was very clean, well equipped and quiet. We were staying to visit our daughter at college and this proprty was perfect for that. Its centrally located, easy to park and made a great base for our stay. The bedrooms are lovely and there is lots of living space. Theres even a cute garden. Highly recommended."

"The property was basic but very roomy and clean. TV, shower and bed were great, as was being able to park on the drive. Really appreciated the little extras like tea, coffee, toiletries, washing up liquid etc. Contactless check-in was simple, with very fast communication from the owner whenever I text. Loads of takeaway food options and Tesco mini market nearby which was very convenient too. Thanks "

"Check in fine.Did have to mention that property was wrongly advertised as having two showers.Lounge chair collapsed due to faulty worn legs No lid on waste bin in the kitchen.Sadly would not stay at this property in the future."

"I don't recommend staying here. I rented it because it was reasonably priced (comparatively) and available the week of the Taylor Swift concert, it had a lot of beds, and the photos looked ok. But there are a number of drawbacks that aren't explained: - It's not a good neighborhood. We felt uncomfortable walking until we got a few blocks away. "This was actually the most HORRIFIC experience I've ever had at a property rental. I would highly recommend you DO NOT book this property. Multiple reasons:-I clearly stated & registered my pet cat.
