"Wildhaven is truly the best cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many! The views take your breath away and the cottage itself is large and beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable and the bedding excellent quality. The kitchen is well equipped and both bathrooms luxurious. The Wi-Fi worked well for us, although the television reception was sometimes a little patchy. "A lovely little cottage that had everything you need. We stayed with our two young children. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it, but we have two areas that weren't perfect. Getting the boiler just right took a while. There wasnt enough hot water on our first night, so the kids ended up with a tepid bath and theln in trying to sort that out we set the boiler to come on early in the morning so we could have hot showers - the boiler is noisy and so woke us up very early. "Lovely stay at the bungalow. Three friends on a singing weekend nearby. It was very well equipped, clean and peaceful. A drainer rack for the sink would be useful and the mattresses were a little ‘tired’. Nevertheless it was great for us and we would stay there again."

There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. One of our favourite get always and I can’t recommend enough!"

"This is a delightful well equipped property which proved cosy and comfortable , much needed in a week of poor weather. The upstairs bedroom is far superior to the downstairs, as is the upstairs bathroom but twin beds don’t suit, and we weren’t sure if they were zip and link It would be really great if they were! We appreciated decent number of dishwasher and laundry tablets, provisions for the dog, and a quirky welcome pack. Thank you."

Great bonus as it wasn’t exactly “flaming June” was the snooker table, especially for the youngsters , there were many challenging matches! Outside facilities were great but because of the weather not uses apart from table tennis and basketball net. Plenty to see and do only a short drive away."
