The village of Defynnog is home to a friendly pub, the International Welsh Rarebit Centre, and the ancient Defynnog Yew. Just a little further north, Sennybridge (1 mile) has a choice of great pubs and is the site of the remains of Castell Ddu. To the east, walkers can enjoy the views from Cefn Llechid (1.5 miles). Heading further into the Brecon Beacons, the majestic Pen Y Fan (9 miles) is the highest peak in South Wales, and Llangorse Lake (16.5 miles) is a popular spot for boating, birdwatching and water sports. The thriving market town of Brecon (10 miles) is known for its medieval cathedral.

Entering this stylishly decorated property, you will find the thoughtfully organised kitchen with exposed stonework and a welcoming country atmosphere.
