"The stay was quite uncomfortable making us leave after the first night. Had to sleep and move about the apartment dressed in layers due to cold and clammy temperatures. Host stated that the municipality would not allow turning on the heating system during the month of May but then turned on the heaters anyway when we complained about the cold temperatures…only to wake up in the middle of the night freezing and finding the heaters turned off again. "Pros: The studio has a wonderful view over the lake. It's a well presented studio with everything you need. We were surprised at how spacious it was. The garden was great for our dog. Cons: The road was very narrow to the studio. We couldn't find the switch to turn on the lights for the parking area at night. The mattress was quite hard."

"We just spent 4 nights at the Hotel Meandro and had a really lovely time. Beautiful view of the lake from our terrace, super clean room and very comfy king bed. Pool and sauna was very nice, breakfast had everything you could ask for including vitamins! Like a lot of Italian hotels it had only a little shabbiness but we would be very happy to stay there again. It’s just up from the public beach, they provide a beach bag and towels. Walkable to everywhere. And all the staff were SO nice. They all have kind eyes so says my husband. A memorable vacation in a beautiful place. "

SO glad to say the Sole Hotel team were on to it straight away, found solutions and fixed every concern in a charming, diligent and thorough way. 5 stars, you can be VERY confident in this hotel and its PROFESSIONAL staff. From cleaners to bar waiters to management. This is a classy team. As to location, its unbeatable. Lakeside, on the main square with breathtaking views.
