"A lovely stay in a traditional Normandy Manor House. We have stayed many times and will return. The rooms off the courtyard suit us best due to steep stairs in the main house. Lovely well maintained grounds (not extensive though). Plumbing can be a little erratic! Wonderful food at dinner and breakfast. Some dishes cooked on open fire. All home made. Family run, friendly & unassuming. "

The whole building was full or character and very stylishly decorated to a high level with a selection of D-day memorabilia and information in the dining room. "Easy instructions provided before check in, the reception is at the sister hotel. Mouton Blanc breakfast is also at the sister hotel. Staff were very helpful and happy to answer questions and help. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Shower gel and soap in bathrooms but no shampoo and conditioner. Beds comfortable, wonderful luxury to be able to walk around the island after dark when all the crowds have left!"
