"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. "The rooms are very comfortable, and the hotel is very clean. It is extremely well located, close to the lake and old town as well as to restaurants ans shops. Havin a reception desk is somehow missing."
