"There was black mould in bedroom 3 and in the bathroom. This meant we had to move the bed as black mould is dangerous. The fridge was off when we arrived and took a long time to chill. There were no teaspoons. No hand towels anywhere and the bed springs had gone in 2 beds. The sheets were so old they were rough and bobbly. "A wonderfully historic house with an equally wonderful garden, location and views. So very peaceful. Only a quick drive to Launceston for provisions. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. Lots of games for the garden and indoor board games for family fun. It was hard to drag ourselves away to go enjoy all the fun things to do in the area. The owner provided a very comprehensive list."

"Elaine is a great host. Accommodation was immaculately clean, had lovely views and is full of light. We had a great stay. The bedroom in the eaves does have restricted height."

"We had a fabulous time at the barn. Sally was so helpful and made check-in really easy and gave us suggestions for places to visit in the area. The barn had everything we needed and the secure garden was great for our dog. Our 2 year old daughter loved running in the fields and seeing the surrounding cows and horses. Lots of books and games but we were lucky with the weather enjoying the places of interest around the Bude and Bude itself. "Rural house a short distance off the main road serving the north coast of Cornwall (rugged and picturesque with some amazing beaches and port towns in short reach). Local pub did an amazing roast on Sunday and very friendly. Couldn’t fault the house, had everything we needed, very clean with various spaces (dinner table, lots of sofa space, conservatory and tables / chairs outside with a bbq). Loved the attic headroom. It’s a rural house and location, so if you don’t like being “away from it...

"Enjoyed our stay Cottage had everything we needed plus a good view to boot Met when we arrived and shown through all we needed. When we were there there was work being done which is good to see that they are always looking to improve. That said you wouldn’t know a builder was there as they were very quiet and reserved. Dog walk field a little squelchy, but nothing you wouldn’t expect with the weather at this time of year. Thanks for having us. On our list of places we will look to return to."

"Cheaper than most and fractionally dated in its decor but thats reflected in the price. Great value for money. Located so closely to Bude. The perfect base to come backbto each day in a quiet location. The main road is noisy but you font hear it from inside the property. Views from the back garden a beautiful (yes you can see the sea). Check in and out was super smooth too. No real bad points."

"House nice, well equipped, very comfy beds, in decent proximity to places to visit by car, nice park a short walk away (uphill) and Tesco a walk away. Bath decent and shower very good. We stayed for 4 nights. Two adults, a 1 year old plus dog. Be aware - Parking! Something of a nightmare. There is not free parking easy to hand, all parking is for permit holders only and this house has not gained a permit for guests. This means your car cannot be by your property for more than two hours, then...

"This property is ideal for visiting the north and south coast of Cornwall. We stayed for 10 nights , our only problem was drying clothes. The weather wasn't very good so trying to dry anything for 8 people was difficult. Tracy was easily contactable if we had any problems. Booking in was easy. Accommodation was great for 8."
