I phoned the owner, luckily his number was in the details, and he told me The Clacks will remain shut for months and that hotels.com had not notified him of any booking. The stairs would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues and this should probably be mentioned in the description. Having said that we managed fine with some extra care and the bedroom on the same floor as the bathroom was useful. We had everything we needed and Peter was great to communicate with. "The flat is ok-ish, clean enough I would say but definitely not a luxury apartment. It has a couple of cool things like the bathroom mirror, a couple of lights and some black furniture but that's about all the luxuries. How luxurious is it when you have to hand wash the dishes and why would you host up to 8 guests but only provide towels for a max of 4!?! On the host's defence this was mentioned in the house rules but still... The gym is actually a stationary bike in the living room, some...
