The room was clean and had an amazing terrace and view . Communication with owners was great. We had some complementary breakfast in the fridge which was lovely.
A really beautiful place to stay surrounded by nature. Highly recommended!
Nice modern complex with wonderful views overlooking the river. Spacious studio, clean, with all conveniences. Continental breakfast provided. Excellent tap ware in kitchen and bathroom, which were a pleasure to use.
Perhaps about 4 km from the centre of Bridgetown, 1 km to a lovely River Park with a walk along the river.
We were disappointed to have a Queen size duvet which was too small for our King size bed. The spare blanket had strange pale marks on it.
Not a bad spot to stay, but no one to meet on arrival and no one to return keys to ( had to leave in room). Unit good and plenty of space, great view out rear doors, but mouldy musty smell in bathroom.
Huge room, very comfortable bed, plenty of seating with armchairs and table and chairs inside and outside overlooking garden. I really appreciated the extra touches of fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge. Lots of attention to detail for guest needs.
The Tweed Valley Lodge was lovely. We stayed 2 nights and the room had every thing we needed. The bed was comfortable and the location of the property was perfect. The only problem we have was, apart from an envelope on the office door with our name on it and instructions inside we had no communications with the owners.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The gardens made a lovely vista viewed from the deck. Large unit too.
Lovely spot watching the parrots and wild birds.Room was comfortable but crockery did not match. Owner very helpful and friendly. Town very pretty but everywhere closed at 2 pm Only the pub where you could get a meal,
A fabulous getaway set on a beautifully established garden. A view of the river with many different birds fed in the afternoon made for a relaxing peaceful stay. Clean and tidy accommodation. Very enjoyable. Thank you.
It was beyond our expectations and the bed was so comfortable
The touch of having everything for a light breakfast in the room was an extra touch
Totally recommended
Very peaceful and we can highly recommend coming here for a quiet and well provided holiday. When we entered the room, it was bright and open stretching from a small entry with bathroom beside it, then into the kitchen and a large bedroom with table and two chairs, plus two sitting chairs and a small tv. On the wall. Immediately outside was an enclosed space with another table and three easy chairs to sit outside in the fresh air. It is early spring and as we drank our cup of tea, the birds were visiting the deck to eat seed which had been laid out for them.
The deck is a large area with more tables and stools to sit at while enjoying the barbecue also there for guests use. Several guests came out to enjoy a wine in the lovely fresh air. The area is quiet except for bird noises and general low hum of what little traffic was nearby. From the deck you can see down into the gardens and into the small river below. Our unit led directly onto the deck but there were several others with their own balconies and bird feeders. I suspect they were the slightly smaller units as we had sourced a king size bed. These units had under cover parking, however our parking was in the general carpark, this choice probably affected by the lodge’s units following the rivers process.
A continental breakfast was provided in the kitchen which you could prepare yourself. There was fruit juice, cereal, bread & butter and a supply of condiments. The normal tea and coffee were also here.
