Our room was cozy, beds comfy, and big for all of us! Three of us stayed and even the couch bed was comfy. We were close to BLM train and not far from cable car. There was hiking and access to the flower park which my kids loved. We hiked to Gimmelwald too Back up actually and it was hard but my kids did it! They even paraglided ! 5 stars!! We didn’t want to leave "

"We knew in advance that the hotel was under heavy renovation/construction, but this did not detract much from the stay. The worse (?) was that the panorama of the Eiger N wall from the balcony was somewhat marred by a construction crane (see photo) - not a big deal. We found room to park at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was great. The room is nicely furnished. One small fault: not enough power outlets around and just one USB outlet. And confusing light switches that operate on a delay and take time to master. The price is high, but so are most prices in Grindelwald"
