"It’s a lovely hotel in a lovely location"

"Wasn’t expecting a ‘superior’ twin room to be directly above the kitchen. Extractor fan turned on @ 7am… a necessity no doubt, but hardly conducive to a relaxing stay. Staff lovely. Parking easy."

"Everything is absolutely perfect beautiful place and fantastic staff"

"Perfectly situated above a traditional English pub. Breakfast was excellent."

"Great staff lovely homely feeling."

"Lovely friendly staff, evening the bar is packed with locals and guests, the food both for dinner and breakfast is excellent."

"A very nice and quiet location, the rooms are modern and well looked after. "

"Lovely pub with rooms, the team at The Bear are super nice, so friendly, we really felt welcome. We enjoyed our stay, thank you."

"Fantastic hotel booked before early flight the next day, and was a great way to start the holiday"

"Great location and room"

"The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would stay at The Crown again without hesitation, however as I am disabled there are not enough parking spaces available for disabled guests staying at the hotel. The bays at the front of the hotel (3) were, at most times occupied by non blue badge holders."

"The staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were individually quaint but could probably benefit from modernising. The area was scenic and quiet. Would see it more as a 3 star hotel instead of 4."
