For me, the experience staying here was worth so much more than the small cost per night. I stayed three nights and was able to tour Cameron highlands and spend time with the family working at the property. I took a hike through the jungle, cooked over a fire, and saw the local neighnoring village. Complete relaxation in a beautiful setting. The villas are comfortable and quite big. The open air concept gives you that feeling of being in nature, but in a private setting. The entire grounds give way to a stress-free experience. The staff are helpful and courteous; they went over and above to tend to our needs. It was such a uniquely designed hotel and even though it is not in town, it doesn't take to long to order a grab ride to go out and in. The only thing that could be improved on is if the shared kitchen area was better equipped with soap, paper towels, and dishes to use.

Amazing hotel, super clean, very friendly staff. The hainanese restaurant next door is a big plus point too! Only con is that the hotel is a bit far from.. well everything! Could not walk anywhere, mainly because the infrastructure of ipoh is very VERY car-centric but also because of how far away the hotel is from most all places. Troji and his intern Nacho were great hosts, friendly and accommodating. Nacho took me and another guest on a hike, and we all joined Troji for dinner one night at a nearby restaurant. The hostel was clean and quiet, with plenty of cooking implements and condiments and fridge space. I enjoyed playing the guitar there, binge-reading one of the books, and taking walks through the farms nearby. Happy with the stay, the location is near to the airport. The room is clean and big. Special thanks to the assistant manager Jessie Chua, she is very warm and helpful. We definitely will come back again.

Everything was great except the 2 flimsy towels and 2 small bottle of shampoo and shower gel. We got the king bed deluxe room on 5th floor which is quiet.
