Hotel with a Concierge in Cameron Highlands from AED 88

For me, the experience staying here was worth so much more than the small cost per night. I stayed three nights and was able to tour Cameron highlands and spend time with the family working at the property. I took a hike through the jungle, cooked over a fire, and saw the local neighnoring village. I came here looking for a different experience than what the hotels had to offer, and what I found was a peaceful oasis of nature and traditional livelihood in a modernizing agricultural region. We only stopped here for one night. It's clean, spacious, easy to find and close to various eateries.

Hotel room has basic setup like heritage style. Fixtures are old and can smell its old smell once entering the room. Balcony is nice and it will be nicer if chairs and small table can be place. Also, if the light at balcony is checked if it is working. Overall, room is quiet and staffs are nice and kind.

Complete relaxation in a beautiful setting. The villas are comfortable and quite big. The open air concept gives you that feeling of being in nature, but in a private setting. The entire grounds give way to a stress-free experience. The staff are helpful and courteous; they went over and above to tend to our needs. The property is in a somewhat desolate area, so you'll need your own car or willingness to take a taxi everywhere. The rooms are clean and spacious but there are already signs of poor maintenance throughout. No complaints about the stay though; we had both a connecting room (king with two twin beds) as well as a deluxe queen (two queen beds) and found them very comfortable for our family with two small children. Lots of parking around the hotel free for hotel guests. The air conditioning is not the quietest, even on the lowest fan setting its a little more noisy then modern silent AC units. Bedroom curtains thick and can block outside streetlights completely for quality sleep. Windows from my room were facing north-east, with a nice view to the mountains. Comfortable mattress. I was impress with the friendliness of staff and speed of check in. Overall experience was satisfied and wonderful. I would like to compliment the front liner Hema and Yanti for being helpful all time.There was one kind of stink smell when the air conditional was turned off, reported to the front desk, even they unable to find out the problem, but they took effort to reduce the smell. Clean room, noisy hallway as renovation was going on. No restaurant in the hotel.

Good location. Hard to walk in Ipoh with uneven sidewalks. Just take a Grab for 5-6 ringgits. The gym is ok but VERY hot and stuffy with no AC and no fan. Gym is essential useless. Better to take the weights out to the hallway to work out. Also the pool is closed except if you stay in the suites. Locked all the time. So NO real pool.
