I stayed at Ibis Styles Brisbane for one night and found it to be very basic but adequate for a short stay. The best part is definitely the location—right in the heart of the city, which made it easy to get around and explore. The room itself was simple and compact, offering the essentials but nothing more. For a quick overnight stop, it did the job. I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay, but it’s doable for one night if you just need somewhere central to sleep.

Front desk staff were very good. Housekeeping only did half the tasks on two of the four nights we stayed. There is a rowdy club on the corner, which we could hear on the 7th floor, and people sleeping on the sidewalks around the hotel.
