    Enjoy two screened-in, covered porches—front and back—perfect for morning coffee or listening to the evening chorus of the river valley. Whether you’re heading out in waders to fish wild browns and rainbows or strapping on a daypack for a hike along nearby river trails and Appalachian Trail access points, adventure starts just outside your door.

    Inside, The Midge features a full kitchen, private full bath, and thoughtful amenities, including complimentary coffee and filters, two milk crates of seasoned firewood and kindling, and high-speed 60mbps fiber Wi-Fi with Hulu + Live TV. A Level 2 EV charger (240V/40Amp) is available at the lodge office and gift shop.

Bristol Race Weekend

We had a great stay! Cabin had everything we needed! Loved eating breakfast on the porch and the short walk to the river. Perfect spot for the race!

Super Cute

Would definitely recommend. The Midge is a super cute cabin. It was very clean and the fire pit was a definite plus. With the porch lights off you can see a gazillion stars. No views like that in the city. The walking trails are great and go right by the river and its always fun to ride up to the dam where it feels like you're on top of the world. May stay here again on my next visit home.

ADORABLE little cottage!

Amazing little cottage. Bed was quite rough, but everything else about it was perfect. The covered front AND back porches pushed us outside more comfortably also, wich was very nice.
