"The cottage is lovely and was perfect for my sister and I to enjoy a few days in Devon. It’s been sympathetically modernised inside without losing any of its original charm. All was clean, tidy and well maintained. Even with a pub just a few doors down, it’s quiet and we weren’t disturbed at all. There’s a lovely terrace to enjoy the morning/evening sun. Parking was straight forward thanks to clear advice in advance. We loved exploring the local area with such a nice base to come back to. We were lucky with the weather but, even so, you’d enjoy your stay here regardless. We’d definitely recommend this cottage as a cosy and comfortable place to stay at any time of year! Thank you!"

"A warm friendly welcome set the scene when we arrived for our 3 night stay in June. All staff were pleasant and delightful. Nothing to fault, apart from an uncomfortable dip in one mattress. We did not use the restaurant. The hotel is old but the rate paid was a bargain and we hope to return."

"Located a short walk from the centre but with parking makes it really convenient. The views over the estuary from its open, elevated position are wonderful. However, it's the staff that made this a memorable stay - everyone I saw had a smile and went the extra mile. Oh, and the breakfast was first-class."
