"My sister and I loved the house: comfy beds and furniture, well appointed kitchen (although we mostly ate out), tasteful decor. We loved the close proximity to the shops, amenities and beach, since we both have limited mobility. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and can imagine it would suit a family really well. (Rather steep staircases though!) Highly recommended."

"I have spent 20 years visiting the New Forrest for holidays and I wish I had found this place before, it is a gem. The owner Chris was extremely welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked another stay for later on this year while we were there. I cannot recommend this location highly enough."

"Property was perfect for our gathering. Decor was fantastic and full of personality. Personalised reception was appreciated. Endless rooms with different combinations of bed to suit everyone. Kitchen table comfortably fitted 12 for dinner. Bathrooms a little basic. Working fireplace was a lovely touch. We had a fantastic celebration and this property was a big part of that."

"The property was first class, very clean and comfortable with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The location was ideal for us and we used it as a base for trips to hurst castle, IOW etc. We had a small issue with the heating which Emma was able to resolve almost immediately without any fuss. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the new forest!"

"The house and garden were both beautiful and clean. Helen was amazing at returning any messages and queries we had both before and whilst there. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks again for our stay, we had a lovely relaxing time and even the weather seemed to behave for us!"

"I scored 4 not 5 as when we pulled up outside the first impression looked as though it may be slightly run down. Once inside though it was all good, light and clean and had everything we needed. The outside space is lovely but could do with some maintenance and there wasn’t enough comfortable seating for us all to sit outside easily. "Cute and stylish cottage (we were in the Milking Parlour), easy to find and good location. Cosy for a few days for a couple but the outside space a bit disappointing. Inside the cottage is pretty much exactly as per the photos. It's stylish and cleverly designed for multi-functional self-catering. Even has a dishwasher! My happy place
"I’ve stayed here a couple of times now - usually with my wee budgie. I stay in hotels weekly with work but nowhere comes close to Knoll. It’s very friendly here and it’s a very special place, full of character and history. The food has always been consistently good as has the service and cleanliness. Also super that they have a tiny golf course, tortoise and tennis courts which you can use and the outdoor pool is lovely in the summer "
