"The frontdesk service as well as the waiter are all friendly which give you a really good mood. The room is cozy but everything’s prepared and it’s comfortable for solo trip. Although the sound-proof in my room is not that good. When your neighbors are opening their doors you can hear that, and also the sound of the air conditioner."

"We came to D.C. to see the Bonnard exhibition at the Phillips Gallery which was a 10 minute walk through a beautiful neighborhood. No complaints. It might be good to put detailed instructions on how to enter and exit the under hotel parking garage for guests on the website or in an email."

"We returned after many years to this historic property to find it had aged well. Staff are polite and competent. Rooms are large and walls are thick. We had a nice view of Rock Creek Park. On Connecticut Avenue, steps from the hotel, there are a number of excellent restaurants, a CVS, and a good liquor store."
