Our kids spent most days in the water and also had so much fun enjoying the campfire and making sāmores. This has become a family trip we truly cherish, and weāre very grateful to our lovely hosts for another memorable stay."

"We had a wonderful stay in the one-bedroom cabin! The setting was absolutely beautiful, quiet, peaceful, and right on the Penobscot River. We loved spending our evenings on the dock watching the sunset, and our son's favorite part was seeing the train pass by each day.The cabin had everything we needed, including a kitchen, bathroom, screened-in porch, and a great fire pit for relaxing after a day of exploring. Charlie and his wife were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. They were always quick to answer questions, provided fuel and firewood when needed, and offered great recommendations for things to do in the area.If you're looking for a comfortable riverside getaway with wonderful hosts, we highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back again!"

"Such a lovely spot for solitude and serenity. Saw a good deal of deer, even in the village cemetery! Absolutely restful nights on the daybed. Slept with the window opened and listened to waves and loons and the breeze! Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"Most clean and best smelling place I have rented! We had an absolute blast enjoying the dock, fishing, and watching our dogs play in the water. So much fun! Thank you SO much to the hosts for sharing their gem. My son is already asking to go back!!!"

"Everything about this cottage is beautiful! I cant say one bad thing. Waking up to the beautiful lake abd falling asleep to the loons were perfect! Cornhole was a big hit as well! We will be back to get some fishing in for sure. "

"What a perfect spot! The room is spacious and comfortably furnished. My husband and I enjoyed the snacks and coffee. Being on a working farm added a fun element without being too noisy. We only heard the goats as we left in the morning. The host communicated in a timely fashion and offered to replenish breakfast. Their directions were detailed and accurate."
