I had a great stay with Helen, Sarjo, and Abrima at the Mango Lodge... it was a great base for birding! The food was great, and Abrima was so kind to get up early to make me breakfast so I could be out on the road by 7am for my fabulous birding adventures. I had the best time birding with local birding guide Kebba Sosseh!!! Can't wait to return :D

Hjertelig velkomst og stemning. Noget slidt.

Dejlig Lodge i det mindre turistprægede Gambia. Stedet er lidt slidt, men rent. Især er stemningen, service og imødekommenhed fra personalet i top. Man føler sig modtaget som en del af en afrikansk familie

Nothing round about the lodge for about five miles so you are isolated no bars,restaurants etc so you have to get taxis or eat and drink on site. Staff and people in surrounding are very friendly

Prachtige locatie midden in een wijk. Ruime kamers. Vriendelijk personeel. Nadeel is dat je om alles moet vragen: de schoonmaak van je kamer, handdoeken, ontbijt, drinken. Een excursie geregeld vanuit hier en de gids was geen gids maar een chauffeur, vertelde niets, gaf geen informatie. Dit was erg jammer.

The property was located in the heart of Ghana town surrounded by local people, giving it a charm & personal experience. The staff were amazing so friendly and attentive. Anything could be arranged for you like trips & transportation nothing too much trouble. Food was to a good standard given the limited resources available. Only frustrating thing was the lack of water, showers to be taken in the mornings.,Electricity also intermittent, lightning in room not bright but not a major issue.

My partner and I stayed at Mango lodge for 4 nights and absolutely recommend it! It is located inGhana twn further away from the touristy areas and in 5 min waking distance from the beach. The beach is lovely and quiet with a couple of local bars! The staff were so kind, helpful and friendly that felt like family! They also had a great cook asking the guests every day for their prefered local food to cook. Very lovely pool area to relax and great service. Thanks and hope to see you guys!
