The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We also enjoyed the thai around the corner and coffee shop which was open from 5am. Overall, a very convenient and pleasant stay. Just avoid having a room 1 to 3 and its close to the street and right above the restaurant which didnt quiet down til 10:30

The motel has a lovely restaurant which had a great band playing lovely Jazz the night we were there. We had a great room which was well equiped and was either newly updated or had been extremely well maintained. Amanda at reception was outstanding and is well placed in a position in hospitality.

The Sails Motel in Brunswick Heads is one of those places that quietly does its job without trying to cosplay as a luxury resort. Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a location that’s annoyingly convenient. You can walk to the river, beach, pubs, and cafés in minutes, which means you barely need the car. The pool area is a nice bonus, and while it’s still a motel at heart, it’s a well-kept one. Overall it’s a solid, reliable stay.

Great customer service, room was clean, grounds clean, handy 15 min walk to the coast, dining options next door and a few more around or main town center is 15 min walk. The pool is not as big as it looks on the photos, it still nice. We didn’t get to use the pool very long during our stay - closed early at 6pm with the public holiday or would have been 5 stars.
