The location was ideal being so close to the midi train station and was only a 25 minute walk from central Brussels along the main road which had shops and restaurants. The room was larger than expected as well and was clean and comfortable

The owner is very nice. The room is so clean and big and we did not expect that we have kitchenette and of course the beautiful view we have when looking at the window. We will definitely go back again and recommend to our friends. And the best thing, so close to brussels midi/zuid train station.

The room is very spacious and the kitchen is complete with utensils The apartment is perfect for 4 people and the staff are very helpful and give detailed instructions. They take their time to show you how all the system works in the apartment.

Convenient apartment for Eurostar Terminal

Very convenient for the Eurostar terminal. This area of Brussels is not the greatest but triple security getting into the block made it feel secure. Room was nice and convenient and could accommodate more than just the 2 of us. Very friendly welcome and as it is an apartment we worried a bit about an esrly checkout but it wasnt a problem. We really used it for a short stopover and an early start so didnt use all the facilities. Would come back again.

Overall, our stay in the hotel has been pretty fantastic. The room was bigger than we thought, the beds are comfy, the sofa was surprisingly snug. Despite the fact that the space of the bathtub was a bit problematic to use, it’s great that the hotel has provided sufficient soap to use. The double huge windows were fantastic to maintain airflow. The staff were helpful as well.

The apartment is good, spacious and clean, and conveniently well located: very close to the train station. The area around is a bit sketchy, I wouldn't recommend walking out till very late at night. The owner was bery nice and correct.

The property was spacious, although being so close to the train station made it feel somewhat unsafe with some questionable characters approaching us outside the station. We had to be buzzed into the building to get to reception, and really had no idea where to go, until someone spoke to us in the stairs, so we followed the sound if the voice. The one key for our room also let us in to 2 doors to get there, so makes one question whether our room key was unique or not. Anyway, very friendly staff and we had a great sleep.

The good: Hotel staff was very helpful (they called and arranged taxis), the unit had ample space and clean. Be prepared to speak French, Spanish, or possibly German with the staff (otherwise use Google translate). Security within the hotel/unit is very good. The bad: Stepping out of Midi station, the surrounding area is extremely sketchy. I did not feel safe walking around the Midi area and almost preferred to take a taxi directly from the hotel to Central station area or airport. If you are a tourist recommend staying closer to Bruxelles-Central or Manneken Pis area to enjoy the historic area. Brussels charges a tourist tax, for 2 people it was ~$45Euro. Tip: Taxi fare from Brussels airport to this hotel = $42Euro or you can use Uber (fare fluctuates based off time of day). We used the bus from airport + metro for our initial arrival.

Nice and spacious apartment in good location near Midi Station (shuttle from Charleroi) Nice staff Walking location from main sights - Communication was very difficult. They did not answer any messages and only 1/5 phonecalls. Staff did not speak english. Even when arriving late in the evening we were not sure if there was anyone to open the door for us. Finally there was. - Neighbourhood was very dirty, but not too loud. Nevertheless is was better location, than crowded tourist areas.

We were here for 1 night arriving during the air traffic control issue and this was a stop over for Eurostar. So limited exposure. The room we had was fine, it was clean but is well worn, you can see it in everything. Bed was comfy and for the few hours we were there it was fine, i wouldn't want to stay for any longer. The real downside is the local area it is horrific and i don't think that even does it justice. I'm not one to feel intimidated but this is bad gangs of men/youths hanging around, drug taking and selling in open view. If you remember Kings Cross London 25 years ago this area is worse than that. I cannot stress enough that hotel for a few hours may be fine but i wouldn't stay past that. I even considered just finding another place anywhere else but we had been travelling for 3 days. We left really early and sat in the station, which is 5min walk away as i felt safer in a station with at least security or police around.

Pros - close to midi station. So unless you have lots of luggage, you can easily walk to the station from here. If you are taking taxi be mindful to put full name in bolt/uber there are similar hotel names in city. Owner allowed us to checkout after an hour after discussion. Cons - there was a rat in the kitchen area even though the room is fully closed. Felt highly unhygienic because of it. Perhaps choosing other than Mimosa might not have this issue. 25€ was deducted from deposit and no reason was given for it. This is a total deal breaker because uncertainty on how much the deduction would be at end is going to be a problem. Dont expect any response to come from owner on Expedia messages. He doesn’t respond to it. I had asked how to switch on fan and he did not reply. Similarly for late checkout no response came. Owner sits in 1st floor between 10am - 8pm so was little difficult to coordinate if you are outside the entire day. Lift is very small which we knew but realized it after I have to go back and forth multiple times to bring luggage down. Even entry has 3 gates - 2 open with code and one with key swipe which i found to be cumbersome to use with kids in hand.

This is a studio apartment to sleep 3 people. The apartment is really nice with everything even a washer which is why we were interested in it. So we figured we’d be able to wash our clothes halfway through our 3 week trip. We thought there’d be a dryer but no there wasn’t so we hung everything up around the apartment. It worked but a dryer would have been good. Also the area is pretty sketchy. Lots of security! So much so you have to go through three doors to get in the place—once you are let in. We had a terrible time getting someone to let us in. There is a small elevator as well. It is a 5 minute walk to the train station which is what attracted us along with the washer.

The space was amazingly generous and would comfortably host 6 adults. It was secure and close to the train station we traveled in and out of. The neighborhood was not touristy, and might not offer much for a family, but it is we located in Brussels.

Wonderful place, close to restaurants & breweries. Parking is literally across the street from Cantillon. The room was very nice, the shower got immediately hot & lots of pressure. My gorgeous host was very polite, knowlegable of the area & spoke perfect english. I made a second reservation for my last night here because I liked it so much.
