"Generally satisfactory but hit by a choking chemical smell at the entrance. Bright airy eating area. Only one barmaid taking food & drink orders unable to do anything to reduce the growing queue. Corridors & room clean. Bed could do with a mattress cover - unyielding & a bit lumpy so I woke a few times - but did the job & I rose fresh in the morning. Shower great. Would return again if price is right. I’m a member of ALL but saved 6% on the app price by booking through hotels.com."

"Fab hotel! I had booked a premium room (without knowing) and it was brilliant. Hotel staff really accommodating. Mini bar included with room. Breakfast buffet really nice and the room large and comfortable. Would definitely stay again "

"Had a great stay at the Best Western Lancashire Manor Hotel recently. It’s a really convenient base if you’re visiting the North West – just off the motorway, with plenty of parking and easy to find. The rooms are clean and comfortable, especially for a three-star hotel, and everything was kept to a high standard throughout my four-night stay. There were a few minor hiccups – I’d booked a king bed but, like many hotels, it was two singles joined together. Normally this comes with a topper to smooth out the join, but unfortunately not this time, and the mattress felt like it had seen better days. That said, it still did the job. There wasn’t an ironing board in the room, but one was quickly sorted by the helpful cleaning staff. Worth noting that the slip road off the motorway is full of potholes – not the hotel’s fault, but something to be aware of. Despite these small issues, the overall experience was very positive, and I’d definitely stay here again."
