My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay. The place was very clean and comfortable. Our host was also very kind and made sure our stay was a great one.
The wife and I came up for the night and had a great time. The place was super clean, hot tub was great. Sarah was quick with her responses. We would definitely come back.
The Cabin was just what we were looking for our hiking adventures in the area. The hot tub was very clean and relaxing at the end of our days. The cabin is perfect if you are looking for a place to lay your head down after enjoying nature in the area. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms small but everything we needed.
If you’re looking for luxury, this is not it—it’s much more comparable to a basic motel than the experience the photos suggest.
This was our third stop on a road trip and the one I was looking forward to the most, so I was especially disappointed. Based on the photos and description, I expected beautiful mountain views, but there were very few to speak of.
The deck leading up to the cabin is visibly rotted and in need of maintenance. I understand this is a mountain property and is exposed to the elements, but the overall condition of the outdoor furniture and deck needs attention. The bug candles on the porch were also unusable—the lighter didn’t work and the candles were essentially dead.
While sitting outside, three dogs unexpectedly came onto the property and began barking at us. The grounds themselves were clean, however, and I felt comfortable letting my dog explore.
Inside, the space is small but clean and relatively cute. The kitchen has the basic necessities, although I would have appreciated a small sitting area rather than just the kitchen table. The stove, however, was filthy when we opened it.
The biggest disappointment was the hot tub. It was visibly dirty, with dirt/sand and grime on the bottom and a ring of sludge around the water line. Despite several attempts to adjust the temperature, it remained lukewarm and was not usable as intended.
There were also several maintenance issues throughout the property.
Excellent stay for a getaway, close to Bryson city and Cherokee, with plenty of trails and store all within 30mins from here makes it a great location plus you have a hot tub and view to come back to after a long hike or day in gatlinburg
My husband and our two daughters stayed in this house while on vacation. It was tiny but perfect for a small family. The hot tub was wonderful and smelled clean. The house was also very clean. Definitely recommend staying!
My wife and I enjoyed our stay, the place was very quiet and private and out in the woods. Best place for a romantic getaway with someone you love. We'll definitely be coming back soon
My fiancé and I were only here for two nights and it was a great time! It’s quiet and comfortable! Travel was easier because we were able to bring the pups.
