My third time staying at the Buchan Motel with my sons. A great spot in a lovely part of Victoria. Room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast provisions were very popular!

Everything was perfect with our stay right from checkin to checkout. There was so much thought given in every aspect of the stay to make it pleasant. All items where new, well maintained with good ambience. Breakfast was too good and it was above my expectations. Spotting kangaroos from property and room balcony was mesmerising. Poor signage. Approach is a like a goattrack. Reception mechanical and indifferent - did not brief on local facilities - sent text only after local store closed. Room like a furnace on arrival. Did not even lower west facing shades. Startled in morning by barking dog from adjoining room running into ours while loading up. Not the way to run a business. However, cleanliness good and do it yourself breakfast OK.

Room was clean and well appointed, with contemporary decor and luxurious toiletries. We enjoyed the covered deck and rain showerhead and pleasant garden view. Breakfast provisions were very good. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like providing wood and matches for the fire pit, and barbecue utensils with facility to wash up after cooking on the communal bbqs. Easy location to walk to Buchan Caves and the Buchan Caves Hotel.

Room was very satisfactory. Convenient parking. Nice to be greeted after dark by kangaroos It took a while to get through to management to obtain details of the room no and how to access it. More details could have been advised when bookong confirmed The bar person at Buchan Hotel was very helpful in contacting Buchan Motel management.
