The accommodation is very good with a double bedroom with en suite and a dressing area and a second twin bedroom opposite the family bathroom. "We had a wonderful stay! The place was very private, clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after long days of exploring. The location was perfect, close enough to Yosemite to make getting there easy, but still quiet and peaceful. There’s also a great pizza place nearby, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a fantastic stay and we would absolutely come back!"

"The location is the best highlight. The river view room was totally worth the price. Beds were comfortable and the hotel has everything we needed for our stay while visiting Yosemite NP."

"Can’t beat the location but the staff was very “laid back”. The restaurant opened 40 minutes late with no explanation and you could get “free” coffee in the lobby but only if you brought a cup from your room. If not, you had to pay 😆 All in all though it had great character, lots of outdoor areas to enjoy and an on-site restaurant all very close to the park entrance. Would stay again even with the short comings."

The Groveland Hotel

"This rustic old hotel's ambiance is a welcome place to rest after day hikes in Yosemite National Park. It's in Groveland, about 50 min. down Hwy 120 to the NP's Big Oak Flats entrance. The area seems to be about as close to the NP as you can find (aside from the Rush Creek Resort (which is significantly closer and in a different hotel class). David at the front desk has a really warm personality and voice, and jumped to get the tub drain and really hot water working in our room. There was no housekeeping so we just did some on our own. The was no closet and not much room to open luggage or walk around, so best not to bring a lot of stuff. A/C was effective but too noisy to use at night. Funny thing is I still liked the hotel because it was so casual and sort of felt like camping with the convenience of a real bed and bathroom, plus there were some reasonable to good meal choices within walking distance as the hotel is on the main street. The building has a colorful history that kind of makes sense once you stay in it. Huge plus was a Tesla EV charger on the side of the building - very convenient! There's a VARTS station across the street if you want to take a bus into the NP to avoid parking challenges. This area is also quite close to some of the major Tuolumne River white water rafting outfitters. Kudos to the Groveland Hotel. It's a sweet place to stay if you can be okay with everything not working and don't need chain hotel predictability."

"Stay was great overall. However, there is NO wifi in the camping area. You will either have to be in the club house, or in the office. The rule is quiet time after 10pm, but there is no enforcement for that and most don't follow the rule. So, bring white noise and make sure you're okay with no contact with the outside. BUT a awesome time in the lake, plenty to do and the main area of Yosemite is an hour East."

"Room was clean and quite large but slightly dated. Card reader on door has seen better days. It generally took several attempts to unlock the door. Staff were extremely friendly and seemed truly concerned with our satisfaction. Free breakfast was bland but sufficient so I can’t complain. This review only covers a single night’s stay."

"We stayed for 1 night at Charlotte Hotel for our visit to Yosemite Park. The hotel was the cutest thing ever, out of the movies! Beautiful town as well! We loved everything about our stay. The room was very clean, bathroom clean. Family loved the scent on the hand soap and body soap. We will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to our friends! Thank you!"
