"Staff was great, room was clean and comfortable. Parking was decent. They offered breakfast but we didn't try it, had to get on the road. Only downside was we were close to the street, and the traffic noise was a bit loud."

"The staff was wonderful, very helpful and warm. The room itself had many stains on the carpet and bedspread. The room had an odd smell to it. The shower head was poor. The flow rate was low and when you put it on the highest flow rate it hurt my back."
The Hotel at Black Oak Casino Resort

"Very nice place. I wished there were more signs on highway to locate where Casino Resort was. Staff was nice, with the exception of one staff. She gave me a look when I was asking were eatery was on 1st floor. She did not mention it was outside of the bldg. Room (241) was clean and update. The air conditioning was way noisy, had it off all night."

"The floor in my room was really dirty and turned my feet black. Other than that, room was nice, quiet, roomy and safe. Parking was easy- right outside my room."

"All good except the restaurant & lounge not on the grounds as advertised. But they ended up being close enough. Also I still need a receipt for the stay which I was unable to get at the hotel"

Twain Harte cabin right near town, sleeps 10

"We were 7 adults, two children and one well behaved dog and we stayed for 3 days in September. The house had space for us all. It was very clean, excellent Wi-Fi, great deck, lots of seats, amid a country setting. Gail, our host was very responsive by text. It is a short walk to the center of Twain-Harte. We all felt it was a great break in the woods compared with normal life. Highly recommended."

"The house was great and had the space we needed for our family reunion to hang out together inside and out. The location was great, we walked to town for some shopping, coffee, mini golf, and lunch. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep so we had to be careful especially carrying our luggage. I’m glad we had two main floor bedrooms for the older folks in our group. The owners were great. Check in and out was easy and the communication was great."
