An older hotel that has been restored that was neat and clean. The bed was comfortable. The patio outside was really pretty. It was very close to Yosemite.

The Aromas restaurant is great, great staff at hotel. No elevator, hotel built in the 1800's. Great location in town and nice place to stay

Our room was small, but had everything we needed. It was very clean and the staff was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. David provided us with recommendations for food and offered to help bring the bags up several times. The town was fun to walk around. Overall it was a very good stay.

There are not too many hotels in Groveland, but this one stands out. Very clean, well maintained, staff are very helpful. If you are arriving late, read the email/message for instructions how to check in. We arrived late but check in was straightforward although there were no staff at reception, the keys to the rooms were in a lockbox and rooms were ready and well provisioned with all required amenities.

Outdoor area is great! Perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or tea. Standard room is small but comfortable. Did have problems with the sink; the hot water got very hot and the handle wouldn't turn off the water. The cold side was not installed properly so it was difficult to turn. The fixtures were higher end trim kits but whoever installed it messed up. We stayed only 1 night but we let the staff know about the sink so hopefully they fix it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. However to call this place a hotel is a big stretch. This is more of an inn. The rooms are cramped and loud. It did the job of what we needed which was to sleep for the night but for the price it is definitely overpriced. If you need just a place to sleep then it will work but don’t expect much space besides that.

Beautiful and Historical Stay

We were on a 10 night vacation and only stayed here one night. It was the best of them all! Such a great hotel with so much history and the town was whimsical! The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was convenient and many dining options nearby!
