"Very nice place. I wished there were more signs on highway to locate where Casino Resort was. Staff was nice, with the exception of one staff. She gave me a look when I was asking were eatery was on 1st floor. She did not mention it was outside of the bldg. Room (241) was clean and update. The air conditioning was way noisy, had it off all night."

"Our family of 6 adults and 4 kids had a really FABULOUS time at the Briner's! Weather was gorgeous and the house was super spacious and comfy. It was also easy walking to the Strawberry Store and restaurant which everyone liked. Jim was extremely responsive when I had questions. Probably one of the best Hosts I have ever dealt with. LOVED the deck by the river. If you go, definitely bring your own small, propane only fire bowl since wood fires are a big no-no in the mountains. House is original sugar pine paneling so it can be dark in the inside spaces but there is overhead track lighting. There are lots of games to play for everyone . Kids' favorite was Cat Bingo! Bring extra dish towels and zip locks, foil and saran if you are cooking for a large group! My family and I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Many thanks to the Briners!"

"We had an amazing weekend. The hostess is such a treat to work with. Communication was fast, clear and concise. The cabin exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was fully equipped. We sat on the patio to enjoy our morning coffee while listening to the winds whispering in the pines. Enjoyed bbqing and staying in. The proximity to the lake added to the fun. Centrally located to everything. Loved all the windows to enjoy the beautiful Big Trees. What a fabulous 70th bday celebration. We will be back!"

"Perfect spot for a family with teenagers. They each got their own room! Very relaxing. The A/C units in the living room and bedrooms are a welcome relief from the late summer heat. Not too far from Pinecrest Lake for water activities and movies under the stars. Twain Harte with a couple of restaurants just down the road for when you don’t want to cook.Host is very responsive. We would definitely stay here again."
