"Good location in centre of Sherborne. Very reasonably priced room and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pub has a car park and is also just 5/10 minutes walk from station. The delightful Sherborne abbey is just a very short walk from the inn and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable although there was occasional noise from the bar downstairs or outside tables. The Abbey is close by and the clock chimes might bother some. The food onsite is good whether you require breakfast or a meal. The room was well equipped and it suited me as a solo traveller very well. "

"The person who greeted us (I think James?) was very welcoming and checked us in quickly. Room felt fresh and had some cool old features. The shower and bed were fantastic. We had a really good pizza and a pint for about £14 each in the lovely gardens (they even put vegan cheese on for me). The breakfast was delicious with high quality ingredients. All in all it was a great stay and good value for money. We hope to see you again post-festival in 2027, thank you for having us!"
