I found Courtney and Cookie very helpful and able to deal with folk well. The breakfast is quite basic but the rooms are really lovely and spacious and it is fairly central.

Room was lovely, big comfy bed, big bathroom with bath and separate shower. Unfortunately arrived on sunday evening and kitchen not open for evening meals Electric car charging points in car park not working Young lad on breakfast duty was really nice but on his own so slight delay bringing orders.

A chain pub, that needs a litte updating. Its on a crossroads with traffic lights. There is plenty of parking.The room was ok, bed comfy with clean sheets. The bathroom could do with a revamp but was perfectly adequate. Continental Breakfast included which literally consisted of cornflakes and white bread for toast with tea or coffee. We had a cooked breakfast which was good. Dining room felt it needed a good clean as tables sticky! I felt it needed a womans touch as would enhance the area. Overall for what we paid on a Bank Holiday weekend it was ok.

Lovely clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The shower riser rail needed replacing in one room as we had to hold the showerhead in order to use it. But water was hot and plentiful. Lots of parking available and electric car charge points too. Despite being near the main road the room was very quiet and no traffic noise heard. Staff were helpful although mixup on first morning with who was working so breakfast slightly delayed. 2nd day was much better with decent breakfast (but please don't put black pepper on everything!) Overall a lovely stay and conveniently located for us. We hope to return in the future.

Had a lovely weekend stay here in November, the place is charming and has a lot of character. The room was large, clean , well furnished and there was everything you needed , I also loved the view and that you could look out and see the thatched roof . Check in was easy , all the staff we met over the weekend were very welcoming , friendly and helpful so it made you feel very relaxed. New management had just taken over when we stayed , I was really happy with stay here and would recommend it.
