Wafa at the front desk was wonderfully helpful and guided us on how to spend our time in Budapest. The rooms was tidy and perfect for what we needed, very comfortable bed and we had a great stay!

Thank you to the staff (I’m sorry, I didn’t catch names!) for their very friendly and helpful service! We were warmly welcomed and received great tips on what sights to visit in Budapest. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel was in a convenient location near a cable car station. Thanks for a great stay!

Great hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend, it's a little difficult to find but you will get sent some photos of the entrance via WhatsApp which solves the issue. Just a note that if you are arriving later than 8pm drop the hotel a quick note as they will then make arrangements to meet you.

Great price and location

Great location in the Budapest Jewish Quarter near ruin pubs, shopping & plenty of great restaurants. The front desk staff was extremely friendly, helpful & provided excellent restaurant recommendations.

This place is wonderful! Easy to get to and great directions along with pictures in case you get lost on your way to the hotel. The young lady in reception went above and beyond letting us check in early as the room was ready which was lovely after a flight to get changed! This lady give us a map with recommendations for different places to go and see! And also food recommendations. The room is cute and the lady brought us in where she showed us where to find the emergency number if we say lost the key or got lost etc. The place has everything you need including a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, water, and beverages. If you forget some things like toothpaste, toothbrush etc then the hotel will assist you with this. The staff couldn’t be more friendlier and helpful! We will be recommending this hotel

The Metropolis was located in a terrific walkable area in Budapest and was perfect for seeing all the sites- not to mention all the wonderful restaurants in the area. The hotel only has 9 rooms and each one is different. It is very quiet and the black out shades were great. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great place to stay!

I have been in Budapest for about 3 weeks and I tried different hotels, this hotel was definitely the best one! The stuff is very friendly and helpful, my room was clean and in good conditions, the price is fair and the Wifi/Internet is really good. I’m looking forward to my next trip to Budapest and my next stay at Metropolis Budapest Boutique Hotel.

I am very happy to found this Hotel. The location is superb so close to major sites and easy to get around . Lots of restaurants around the area, coffee shops and grocery store. The room we have is sufficient for 2 people we have a robe and slipper provided! The breakfast is so good, Hungarian style my pancake has vanilla ice cream! Most specially the host we met. Joanne Aryana Jason( i think) the guy all of them are so warm and helpful. Please forgive me if I got your name wrong;) Our room is clean and flooring is wood. Do not like carpeting in any hotel. Overall was a great!

A gem

It is a little difficult to find the sign on the street with the name Metropolis on It but it is part of the charm of this romantic, enigmatic little hotel tucked away in a regular building like a speakeasy bar during the US Prohibition . The hotel is beautiful and quaint with a touch of nostalgic artistry that makes you feel in a by gone world. The staff is exceptionally friendly too, personable and both persons I met went out of their way to make sure all my needs and requests were met.
