"My finance and I had a very nice stay at the buda castle hotel. Especially because when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist told us that they were upgrading our room from standard to superior for free! This was a welcome surprise given we had just walked up the hill from the train station with our big rucksacks in the 25 degree heat. The room was extremely comfortable with high ceilings, a comfortable bed and a large modern bathroom. The I would have given the condition rating 5 stars if it wasn’t for the faulty shower head which couldn’t be adjusted from its limp position in the holder, and the water pressure in the whole bathroom wasn’t very good. Despite this we had a lovely stay with the location being very close to the castle and fisherman’s bastion, despite the street being silent 24/7. The breakfast was also excellent."

"Location was excellent so easy to get to from airport on 100E link to M1 metro. M1 door to door for Szechenyi baths. But weird bedding, just bdvof split sheets that get tangled in your feet and duvets tucked into the bottom of the bed a bit difficult for tallish people."
