Further down the coast, the historic village of Tintagel (19 miles) is steeped in Arthurian legend and home to world-famous castle ruins. Slightly closer, the fishing village of Clovelly (17 miles) charms with its cobbled streets, art galleries and breathtaking seaside scenery.

Step inside, kick off sandy shoes in the entrance space, and head deeper into the home to uncover comfortable and characterful accommodation centred around a quirky, split-level living space.
