"This little apartment is perfect for a couple of nights if you’re looking for something simple. The location was great - walking distance from everything. The place was very clean and quiet. The AC worked very well. There is a kitchenette but it’s tiny so I wouldn’t plan to cook any real meals there. "A nice place. Relatively close to the Lagos centre, maybe a 15 minute walk. There is parking, but it's a bit of a tight squeeze. We ended up parking elsewhere in the area because getting the car in and out was a hassle with a rental. Big balcony area. Updated kitchen. Access to the pool, but we did not end up using it. The company provided a lot of helpful information during check-in, with lots of videos. This was helpful in actually getting into the building."

"The best part of the stay was the location! So easy to walk to boat tours, the old town, beach, and grocery store. Room was spacious cool temp, and had wine glasses, opener and much more. Friendly staff, nice pool area with two bars. Never made it to the breakfast so can’t comment on that, but overall a lovely stay."

"Although the property is a little dated it is clean and very quiet. Located between the two train stations with an approximate 20-25 mins to Meia Praia station. Walkable distance to Lagos town. Although breakfast was available for a price as well as snacks (very limited) and drinks the restaurant advertised was non existent. However across the road is an excellent restaurant Quintal do Peixe which I would highly recommend. Helpful info : Ask for a hair dryer at front desk as they are not in the room. Towels for the pool are available at the front desk for a deposit of 15 euro each but reimbursed on return at check out. Cons: Charge for safe in room. Also nusiance flies by the pool."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Aqualuz, especially because of its excellent location. If you enjoy walking, this hotel is a great choice. We easily walked to the Marina, Old Town, and all the beaches, from Meia Praia to Praia Dona Ana, to Praia do Canavial, and everything in between. It was wonderful being able to explore so much of Lagos on foot. The hotel pool was a refreshing bonus after a long day in the sun and a great way to relax and reenergize before heading out for dinner. Breakfast was amazing and always well stocked, with several options to start the day. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious enough, with a tv room, bathroom, and a bedroom. There is also a mini fridge and safe. It looks like all rooms have a pool facing view. Our room was cleaned daily around 3 p.m. Fresh towels were always provided which was appreciated. A couple of small things to note: the bathroom amenities were a bit lacking. The shower had one bottle of combined hair and body wash. There was one small guest hand soap at the sink (which was never replaced), with a disposable shower cap and small vanity kit. There is a small laundry room you can use for a fee. If it is busy, there is another one in the Spar convenience store just steps away. Overall, I definitely recommend Aqualuz and would happily stay here again. The location, breakfast, pool, and comfortable rooms made it a great choice for us, an older coupler who like to walk everywhere."
