Impressive property with fantastic views and location!

Listen, they are not going to be around a lot. No one at the desk when you arrive and not throughout the night. Its more a bed and breakfast. Front door is loud, you hear it when you sleep and other guests come and go. Those are the draw backs The staff, Anna especially is lovely. They did their best with redoing the place and conveniently located. Is it the best experience ever? No. But clean safe and close to beach and good breakfast

Nice hotel, very friendly staff. Good location. I had problems with the bathroom. Very bad design of the shower . While i was taking shower the water was simply going directly in the midle of the room !!! It could be be fixed very fast and very cheap. I couldn t understand why it wasn t done ????!!!!!. Shower needs a small shelf for cosmetics. Toilet wasn t phonic isolated from the main room. Overall very bad design of the room.

Lovely small boutique hotel. Close to town and a balcony overlooking town and ocean. Baskets of food brought to you for breakfast we ate on the balcony. Walk to the beautiful 7 hanging valleys trail. Just perfect!

Went in off season which was perfect 70 degree weather and super quiet. Unbelievable for the low price !!! Great for a family

We have spent a wonderful time in the sleepy and relaxing village of Salema. The Salema Beach Village is a brand new, beautifully located resort-like establishment. I don't think anyone before us stayed in the villa with the sea view we were staying in. (Sea view is worth this 30$ extra per night). They opened April 30, 2016. Villas are well designed, well equipped and give you a feeling of a little beautiful and luxiorous fishing village. Perfect place for a family holidays! Hotel beautifully...

We stayed a quick 3 days and had a blast. Everyone was super friendly and inviting, breakfast was awesome, quick walk to the beach and a number of great restaurants, plus we were super excited for one of the better small hotel gyms we've been in - if your hotel has barbells and weights over 20kg, they're doing something right :) We'll certainly be recommending Lagos Atlantic to others and will hopefully be back in the future for more than just a few days!

Clean hotel with easy to access location. Pools were clean and convenient to access. Balcony was large and easy to use. I will definitely recommend.

The building has a lot of charm. Plants, flowers and classic Portuguese interior design. It feels you are in a farmhouse, not in a hotel. The breakfast was great with so many options. The attic room where we stayed was so spacious, with a huge bathroom and a private terrace. I'd point out that they gave us combined twin beds and not a queen/king bad, which wasn't ideal. What a gem this place ended up being. Owner and his son were super welcoming and even had their dog laying around. Room was very large, and the scenic view from our room was incredible. The beach attached to the back of the property was a bit difficult to get down to, but that didn’t stop us from climbing down there to get the full experience. Walking around the property to the adjoining beaches was also super enjoyable. No complaints whatsoever, would stay here 10/10 times we come back to...

Relaxing, friendly and tranquil atmosphere :-)

This was one of our favorite places that we stayed in Portugal. Placid Village was located in a quiet area, but only a 15 minute walk to the restaurants and beaches in town. Going back to the hotel was an uphill walk, but not too bad if you are in decent shape. In the evening we did Uber back. Did not cost much at all to Uber.
