"We recently enjoyed a wonderful two‑night stay at Hotel Mystic Mountain, Nagarkot on 7 and 8 March 2026, and it was truly memorable. Although the weather did not cooperate enough for us to experience the famous mountain views, the exceptional hospitality more than made up for it. "This is a lovely resort - definitely one of the best in/outside of Kathmandu. The staff were also great and the spa treatment was standout. The room was very comfortable with amazing bedding - we appreciated that a lot! Another highlight was sundowners on the helipad with a 360 view. I wouldn't rate the place 5 stars only because a few areas need improvement - when you looked closely at things, you could see some cheap construction... Also the sauna/steam rooms were really gross, we skipped after a walk through... They really need to be completely re-done."

"This is the most wonderful country hotel, perfectly situated with so many amazing amenities. I swam in the heated pool in the middle of winter. I didn't have a bathing costume but could buy one at a very low price. Sham our walking guide was fantastic. All the staff without exception were friendly and helpful. The hotel somehow discovered it was my birthday and made birthday cake for me, and all came to sing happy birthday. That was so touching, unexpected and wonderful - thank you! My room was absolutely beautiful. I hope to return one day soon."
