"This is a great family owned property. They are so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our room (25) which had two queens, a sofa, a table with 4 chairs, and a kitchenette with the cutest retro refrigerator. The bathroom was a little dated, but the water pressure was great. The breakfast was more than adequate with lots of choices. It is conveniently located on Hwy 50. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Salida. "
"The beds and pillows were good. Had an odor in the rooms, but its not the first time. Breakfast was excellent, coffee was good and stafff was very nice. I will stay at a super 8 again"
"The staff was very friendly, the room was impeccably clean and the bed was comfortable. The only fault in the property is the decor being a bit dated. So unless you are a decor snob, you will like it here. I would definitely stay at this property again. "
"Great rooms. Breakfast top notch. Buena Vista a nice small town with lots of activities nearby including Golf and Fishing.
Only issue was no Air Conditioning, warm in the late afternoons (June) and early evening until it cools off since you are high up in the mountains."
"The balcony view was beautiful. It's open, making it easy to connect with other guests. The space is quiet, clean, and faces the mountains at the back of the property. We especially enjoyed watching the many hummingbirds at the active feeders.
One downside is that there's no way to control the temperature in the room. One of us slept well, while the other woke up feeling hot. If you prefer a cooler sleeping environment, consider bringing a portable fan—and don’t forget an extension...

"We loved our overnight stay at this property! Check in was super easy didn’t even have to get out of the car! The room was clean, comfortable bed. Great selection of snacks, juice and coffee for breakfast. I do wish there was deadbolt or chain lock on the door but other than that it was perfect! Highly recommend especially for the price! "
