Great stay for price! Staff was incredible helpful and friendly. The place has a lot of rustic charm. AC and room amenities worked great. Awesome location for late night - super short walk to Corrientes for some pizza and gelato
Quaint and charming old-style architecture. Location appeared to be good, but my first time in BA and the city is enormous. Room was inviting and common/breakfast area was very nice.
The staff was absolutely great!

This is a budget hotel, in a centrally located area, close to the main street with lots of dining options. The hotel occupies one floor in a building with other tenants. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we got early check-in. The breakfast offered is basic, and the bathrooms are a bit dated.
I loved the decor of this hotel. Beautiful. Also the breakfast was delicious and nourishing. The staff were most helpful. The location and transport links are ideal for site seeing. Overall an enjoyable stay. Thank you

Reasonable hotel
Staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean and tidy although it needs some maintenance for leaking showers and doors that are hart to close.
The location of the hotel looked a bit dubious on arrival but was quite safe and we were reasonably close to a lot shops, restaurants etc.

Small, old fashion & centric hotel in BA
Hotel is well located, staff friendly. It's an older building, in the cleaning department need a lot of improvement. Breakfast is ok. We had a balcony room and could sleep because there were people below talking very loud until 3am.
A very quaint, eclectic, boutique. Its not the typical American style hotel. It is on the 3rd floor of a downtown, multi floor building. Very old, very clean with excellent, kind, professional helpful staff. They make you feel like a member of the family. You should enjoy the experience.
The Hotel Chemin is located in a pretty busy area of Buenos Aires and close to many places of interest. Is a pretty old hotel, but keeps the charm of the old days. The staff are pretty helpful and kind, specially Alvaro, Milly and Eli. If you would like to spend some nights in this historical building (1905), i will recommended it without any hesitation. If you prefer something modern, this isn't the place
Nice room and friendly staff trying to be helpful with their limited English. Good breakfast. Relatively quiet street. Unable to find a decent city map of Buenos Aires. Hotel provided a printout of the local area but printing too small to be able to identify the nearby streets. We got hopelessly lost on several occasions. No idea where tourist department was. Get a city map online before visiting city.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The building was very cute, too. Breakfast was lovely. The only problem was the room was SO much smaller than we expected.
Hotel Chemin was a perfect place for us to stay. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The location was great. Many restaurants within a couple blocks. Great Uber location. The breakfast was nice for a light snack. Very delicious and fresh. When we come to visit Buenos Aires again, we will stay!!
Very comfortable room, spacious, clean it even had an extra bed. The breakfast offered a variety of choices and it was delicious. The service at the front desk was optimum, they were always very keen to serve me well, kept some of my items in the fridge, called the taxi, walk me with my luggage to/from the hotel into the room given that it is a small hotel. Would stay again in this very well located hotel in Bs As.

Jack hammers outside, seemed like riots and yelling on the street at night. Even though on third floor very noisy traffic. Police helicopter over building next door. Very loud. Some issues out of control of the hotel but the area felt not safe.

Disliked: Room comfort
Black mold on shower tile grout, mattress thin, 2 bath towels dirty upon arrival, bath towels thin, small and scratchy, coffee cheap tasting, area in front of front door trashy and dirty. I chose this hotel based on “exceptional” rating and maybe if this was a youth hostel but not a hotel—we left before we had to for another hotel bc we couldn’t get a refund.

Prima locatie, alle high lights te voet te bereiken.Zeer sfeervolle kamers en ontbijtzaal.Ontbijt erg uitgebreid.
aanradar dus!
