"What a fun home! Spacious, yet cozy home in the heart of Buffalo. The kids had a great time in the game room while we were “snowed in” for a day. The bedrooms were great and the couch on the 2nd floor was big enough for two of our boys to crash on! We loved the clear egg chairs in the”sun room”. They were so great to sit and relax in while watching the snow fall. Would highly recommend this home to those visiting the are!"

"Came up from Virginia to watch a Bills game with family and friends, and decided to look into a Vrbo instead of getting 2 hotel rooms. Glad I did! This property worked well for what we needed it for, a nice warm place to unwind and eventually sleep. We didnt cook or use the kitchen but it was there and available, not sure how stocked it was cooking supplies wise because we didnt check. Bathroom and shower worked great, no issues with heating the house either. I will say if you have never been to Buffalo and are not familiar with houses in the city, I could see a renter expecting more and possibly leaving a bad review. This house is on the nicer end of the spectrum of Buffalo living. Plus the house is in a great location with plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. But the best part about Buffalo is everything is with in a 15 minute car ride in any direction. "

"We arrived to our VRBO on a Sunday. There was trash scattered in the front yard, but we did not think much of it. We were able to get in the front door and upstairs. The interior bottom door had an electronic locking mechanism; the second interior door at the top of the stairs had a deadbolt, but the door was damaged. There was a secondary side door, which we attempted to use so we could unload our car from the driveway. We immediately noticed the hallway was unkept and the door to the lower apartment was left ajar. That apartment was trashed. The lower exterior door was damaged and unusable. There were also random damaged spots throughout the apartment. At this point, we felt unsafe and reached out to the host. Unfortunately, the "host" is some sort of hosting company and they simply offered repair services. We were able to lock doors to our apartment, so we felt okay to stay for the night. On Monday, we realized the kitchen was not properly stocked and the oven was not working. Minor, but the TV in the bedroom was also not working. At this point it became clear that this property was not up to par for a standard VRBO. We reached out again to the host, who simply offered to send someone to repair the oven. By the end of the day, there was no repair man and the host simply stated they had no one local to help us and the repair man they found wasn't able to come out. Long story short, we got the same run around on Tuesday and decided to vacate on Wednesday with no resolution. "

"Unfortunately we had several issues at this stay. I don't know if it was the hosts fault but I had to ask repeatedly for our check in information, they did text me the info at about 4pm. The house was not well cleaned there was hair in the sink and shower when we arrived. The biggest issue was water pouring out of the light in the bathroom right above the shower. We actually thought someone was taking a shower but water was coming through from the bathroom above. I texted the owner and maintenance person about the issue, we didn't get an update but when I asked that night they said the crack had been sealed. However the light was still flickering and we didn't feel safe using the shower. We texted a couple of times and I requested a partial refund since we were there two nights and didn't feel safe using it but their reply was " it's never a hazard unless you touch it" and there was " no need to make it a drama." I feel they were pretty dismissive about the issue and could have communicated what they did to fix the problem."
