An excellent house in a good neighborhood!! Just a few minutes walk to campus. The house is spacious and very comfortable. The host was welcoming and communicated very quickly with us. We would definitely stay here again.
The home was in the perfect location for our needs and had plenty of space for our whole group of 7 adults. The owner was always quick to respond with answers to questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
It was a lovely old four bedroom home that was comfortable and well accommodated for our extended family who traveled to Buffalo to celebrate a wedding.
My family and I rented this home for the weekend. It was all as described: very clean, large rooms, nice set up for family and waking distance to restaurants and park. We really enjoyed our stay and it accommodated 9 of us very well!!
A great trip visiting family in Buffalo! Perfect space four our family of 5 and my brothers family of 3. The house had everything we needed! Great location plenty of good restaurants within easy walking distance. Central location to anything else you want to do around Buffalo. Will definitely rent again!
The host is very welcoming and accommodating. The house had plenty of room for my family of 7. It had everything we needed for our two night stay. The home is older with creaky floors but it was overall a good stay.
Had a wonderful visit. This house was just what we needed for our extended family while in Buffalo for a family wedding. We had seven adults and two young children staying for four nights. The house was well equipped, which was great as we like to have some meals in. The location was perfect, in close proximity to Elmwood Ave, coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay again.
Perfect location for our family of 8. Irina even left a bottle of wine, chocolates and a graduation balloon for my granddaughter who graduated from Buffalo State! Everything was as described and clean.
We had a fabulous time on our trip. Irina was very easy to reach by messaging her. Very responsive. Her place was super nice and cozy for our group. Easy check in and easy check out. Cute neighborhood as well.
Thank you!! We would definitely return.
We totally enjoyed visiting historic Buffalo including the nearby Richardson Hotel and park. We ate in local restaurants, visited the Frank Lloyd Wright houses and local museums. Our home away from home was spacious for 8, very clean and in an ideal location. Beware, however, of the dishwasher as it doesn't work very well.
If you need a rental with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and parking space for 2 cars in the Elmwood neighborhood, this is it. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The showers had hot water. We were 5 adults and felt very comfortable in this older home that is typical of the area. The only issue we had was the slow internet. Irina let us know where the router was so we could reboot it. We would not hesitate to rent this again.
Our family enjoyed staying in this charming house in Buffalo and viewed the solar eclipse from the back deck. House had everything we needed and the host was responsive and accommodating. We were thrilled to see some extras left for us in the kitchen to enhance our stay. That being said, this charming house has settled considerably over the years and the hallway stairs, upstairs floors and doors near the bedrooms are quite squeaky. If you are traveling with infants or light sleepers, it may be challenging. Luckily for us, our kids sleep heavy so it wasn’t an issue.
This is a beautifully restored old home in Elmwood village, which had walkable or short driveable bars and restaurants, and the neighborhood is lovely for walking. The house is very well updated with a great mix of modern (kitchen) and well renovated historic (floors, doors, woodwork) . We were visiting Niagara Falls while in town and it was an easy drive. The children’s museum is also nearby and was a hit.
The kitchen is well equipped including kids plates and silverware. It was one of the few rentals I saw with more than 2 bathrooms (3 1/2!), and the bathrooms were very nicely updated. Everything was very clean. The kids loved playing hide and seek in the house with all the rooms and the attic space (which has kids toys and books. Irina was very responsive. Overall a fantastic stay, would highly recommend!
Excellent location in Elmwood Village, but be sure to lock your car in the driveway as we saw a car pull up on 2 mornings at about 7am with a hooded kid jump out and check the doors on on our rental car (we guess they targeted this house because there is a “ For Rent” sign on the front porch). We grew up in this area and know it is safe, but the hoody guy was a bit concerning. The house was built in 1890 but has been remodeledis and isextremely well equipped. Has a big living room, dining room and very well equipped kitchen (though only one burner on the stove worked). The beds are very comfortable and the 3.5 bathrooms are clean and remodeled. I have rented 30+ VRBO places (and owned a rental for a while), and this unit is very well done and the Manager was excellent. 5 Stars.
Convenient location to Elmwood Ave and lots of space!
Really enjoyed our stay here, Irina was super responsive and accommodating. Lots of space available for people to spread out and the wine/chocolates gift was a nice surprise. Highly recommend for a big group looking to stay in a convenient area!
This was our second stay at this lovely property! Our group of 5 ladies appreciated the addition of the 3rd full bath, since our last visit.
An overall comfortable place and great location just a couple of blocks to Elmwood Village and the Richardson Hotel. Looking forward to staying again in 5 years if not before when home for any family visits.
This is our third year in row staying at this property and attending a Buffalo Bills game. The fact that we keep returning speaks volumes! We plan on returning next year!
We were all adults having a family reunion. The house was comfortable for all of us: enough bedrooms and bathrooms, a big dining table, a nice kitchen and living room. The area was beautiful (Elmwood Village), within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and Shakespeare in Delaware Park. I would recommend this house.
Master bathroom was very small and could use a deep cleaning on the tile/shower floor.
There was no room to put any personal items. No place to hang up your towels. Outside stair rail needs to be sanded and painted. ( splinter hazard)
Plenty of room for our family. Location was alright.
We had a great stay at this property. We are a family of eight with children ranging from 3 to 11. The property was clean and had plenty of towels and supplies. Being a corner lot, it could be a little loud (cars, motorcycles, trash trucks in the morning), but it didn't seem to be a problem for any of our children and we are usually up early anyway. The only issue we had is the house does not have central air. The upstairs playroom and bathroom were extremely hot and really unusable. The main floor cooled down very quickly with the air conditioner on the wall and the second floor had window units except for the bedroom with the bunk beds. Depending on how warm it is, that could be a problem with shutting doors at night (only an issue with the room with the bunk beds). Overall, it didn't seem to be an issue for our kids in that room as we left the door cracked. I live in PA now but originally from Texas and I like my air conditioning:) Overall a great stay and a cool area.
Four of us traveled from Dayton OH, and two traveled from Allentown PA, for our annual Buffalo Bills home game. We stayed at this same house last year. Plenty of space with four bathrooms. Irina is responsive when needed. Go Bills!
My extended family and I came from out of town to stay in Irina’s home. There was plenty of room, the home was beautiful, and the location is perfect

Needs some work
I stayed in this house three years ago and it needed some work on the stairs and carpet then. Hasn't had any update of carpet and the stairs still creak badly when you walk on them. The carpet is almost threadbare and looks filthy - but may just be that old that it doesn't clean up. The traffic on the weekend nights was really loud. The kitchen is well stocked and the porch swing and chairs were lovely to sit out on in the cooler evening hours. Walking distance to the Bidwell Market on Saturday and generally great location in Buffalo.
