Hotel Indigo Torquay by IHG

"We had a room overlooking the sea, but there was only one chair to sit on to have a cup of tea sitting by the window. The door was very strong and was difficult to get the wheelchair in. A hook to hold it back would be useful. The breakfast was excellent. You are quite a way away from the town, but buses are frequent. Dinner is quite expensive in the dining room. Fabric napkins would be nice in the evenings. Staff are all very well trained"

"As expected, a very comfortable stay. Howe, it was rather odd and annoying to find out that room heating temperature was centrally controlled. You had to go to reception to tell them your room no. and they would adjust your preference!! Annoying and most unusual …never encountered this before. Otherwise all good."

"Disappointed to find things broken in the room on check-in and dirty drawers and carpet. No where to out toiletry bag in bathroom. To be charged £15 a night for parking as we didn't book directly is ridiculous as therebis free parking on the road outside and a m permit carpark next door that charges less."

"Ive stayed at the marine hotel a few times now. Ive been lucky enough to enjoy the entertainment evenings. The hotel admittedly is a little dated but i find to be homely and cheerfull is more apt. Fab location opp the seafront..close to cinema and highstreet."

"Great location if you are fit. Fabulous room with a stunning view but a bit of a comedy bathroom. Breakfast was undoubtedly the best ever."

"Myself and my daughter had a lovely stay at the Moorland hotel. The grounds and setting were marvelous. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Only things that weren't quite right were. Bulb out in bathroom ceiling. Bulb out in mirror in bathroom and door handle in bathroom trapped me inside as it didn't work properly. If my daughter hadn't been with me I don't know how I could have summoned help. On leaving I mentioned these things to reception and hopefully they have been rectified. Apart from that it was lovely and will definitely return."
