"I cannot fault the property. The initial instructions to get in were a bit challenging and the first code provided didn’t work but once we contacted the reception they immediately issued a new one. The property whilst small used space well and was modern with all amenities we needed. Both beds are on a mezzanine which we knew when booking and this worked well for us. "As expected and per the listing and photos. Close to the train station, restaurants, grocery stores etc. There is a communal kitchen which we did not use but was cleanish with some dishes and shared fridge. You could reheat food but don't expect to make a meal. We had a private double room that was relatively clean and would stay again. The cafe on site was closed for renovations although the listing did not offer any indication that it was closed."

"I was please about the location. I appreciated that a grocery store and coffee/bread store were nearby. The city center was a 15 minute walk. The fact that the hotel offers a small "store" with food and beverage items was great. After a long day in the heat it is nice to purchase a beer on the way up to my room. I am unsure of room cleaning schedule but the floors should be swept and mopped at least as a final clean before a new guest arrives. Everything else was great."

"A beautiful, modern hotel located opposite Spilberk Park, just steps away from the Old Town. Large parking lot and also a garage which we did not use. Huge Reception area which made us expect a large room as well. But no, our room was very small with very limited closet space. No balcony, although I would have liked to have one. I was told that they were sold out. The restaurant by the Reception desk is very pricey... and very empty. The other restaurant downstairs was good and decently priced. Breakfast was excellent."

"I had an emergency and arrived at yeh Hotel Continental in the middle of the night. The person that checked me in noticed that I was frazzled when she asked for my passport. She was very calm and understanding. Another staff member helped me look for someone to do my eyelashes. And another one anticipated that I would need a taxi upon my departure and already booked it. The staff is amazing here! The location is absolutely ideal as well. Within a couple hundred meters, you’re in the heart of Brno."

"Nice and clean room, helpful staff at the reception, wide choice at the breakfast buffet. The spa is very nice, but quite a lot of wasps/bees this time of year (early august). Not only at the salty whirlpool which has a warning sign, but large numbers around the outdoor cooling lake and the outdoor showers by the lake. Also, there was still reconstruction works at the spa going on. When I booked the stay, it was written it would be over by then, but it wasn’t."
