Candi Dasa in an area of Bali that is still removed from much of the western commercialisation overtaking the south and west so if you are looking for shopping malls and brand name knock offs, and western style coffee shops, pizza and hamburgers then this is not your destination and the reason we still love Candi Dasa. "This was a very nice hotel but a bit far from the main Amed areas. If you have a car, definitely recommend the hotel. Best coral before the hotel. The staff was very nice and hotel is clean. The price is a bit off scale for the region that is why possibly there were more staff than customers. The breakfast can be better. Kitchen staff is very skilled. "

"Stayed here last year & liked the cottages & restaurant so we returned this year. Staff at restaurant & house keeper are lovely. Cottages clean, food great & right on the best beach for snorkelling. We saw 2 large turtles & many coloured fish & huge coral around the coral garden not far off shore."

"Beautiful spot, great view, friendly helpful staff, snorkling gear available. Reasonable priced food and very yummy. Lots of stairs so not good for people who arent mobile. No high chairs but staff super helpful with our little one. "
