"This was my last stop on my Bali trip and was also the best. I felt very looked after from the advice before I arrived to the breakfast and organising tickets/trips et al.
Close enough to the town for convenience but far away as to not hear any of the traffic! I can't say nice enough things about this place :) Would stay again"

"Vitterligt et fantastisk sted. Parret der ejede det var SÅ søde. Stedet var pænt og rent. Sengene var store og comfortable. Der var den hyggeligste atmosfære og rig mulighed for at møde andre backpackere. Man fik velkomstdrink og parret der ejede det var så søde til at hjælpe med at booke både, scootere, taxa mm. Kun gode ting at sige om dette sted. "

"Such a cute place! the staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. very quiet area. if you know how to ride scooters this place is def the best! Rental is a 1 min walk away. I was a bit wary because of little reviews on expedia but it was better than i expected. They even offer excursions, shuttle to beach cliff restaurants, and drivers to hire. I would definitely stay here again"

"Довольно приличный хостел.Очень чисто, большие комнаты,в каждой комнате кондиционер , хороший сигнал вай-фая ,приветливый персонал,на территории есть бассейн, ресторан.Правда цены в ресторане завышены, и при бронировании у меня указывался завтрак,но его не было.А в общем приличный хостел . Рекомендую."

Our peaceful haven above the Ubud crowds
Review of Maya Ubud Resort & Spa
Reviewed 1 week ago
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Maya Ubud in August 2026. The hotel grounds are stunning — extensive, beautifully maintained, and nestled deep in nature. It's a joy to relax by the pool while taking in the steep, tree-covered cliffs that plunge into the river gorge below. The breezes are wonderfully cool and fresh, never chilly, thanks to the warm sun. Service was impeccable — attentive, kind, and genuinely enthusiastic. All the staff were wonderful, especially Sumi and Dewi, who went above and beyond. The Mat Pilates class was excellent too.
Ubud itself was quite crowded during our visit, which made us appreciate the hotel's own offerings even more — two pools, three restaurants (the Western food was particularly good), and cultural dance performances every single night. We left feeling completely refreshed."
"A wonderful experience was had! The elephants are incredible. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable and clean and we thoroughly enjoyed having an elephant come to our room to be fed! Dinner buffet was delicious! Will definitely be coming back!"
"The room was super clean. It has all of the amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton buds etc, so you do not have to ask for anything.
You get two water bottles daily, theres tea/coffee sachets in the room. They have a water dispenser in the corridor so you can refill your bottles. It really had everything you need.
On arrival you have a welcome drink and sweet. The service was good. They have a gym, spa and pool. The area has affordable massage places, restaurants and shops. Overall, highly recommend if you are staying in Ubud."
"The property was very spacious with a lovely pool and beach area. We stayed in Lagoon room which was private and also spacious. It was little bit away from main attractions, but a we hired a motorbike to get around
The shower was cold until you had to run The water for 1/2 hour before getting warm. The sheets were not changed in the 8 days that we were there. We had to regularly ask for towels, coffee for room as was not replaced.
Did was nice for breakfast and dinners"
"Staying at Tanah Gajah in Ubud was an absolute highlight of our time in Bali. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were blown away by the level of care and hospitality.
The staff here are truly extraordinary. Every single team member made us feel genuinely welcomed, greeting us by name every day and anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Whether we needed recommendations, help with logistics, or just a quick chat about our plans, everyone was incredibly warm, attentive, and super helpful.
The resort’s amenities were top-tier across the board. The serene pool, lush paddy field surroundings, and quiet, spacious grounds provided the ultimate peaceful retreat after exploring the island. Every detail of the estate feels thoughtful, luxurious, and deeply connected to Balinese culture while delivering modern comfort.
If you are looking for an authentic, high-touch luxury escape with world-class service in Ubud, Tanah Gajah exceeds every expectation. We can’t wait to return!"
"We cannot rave enough about Hava Ubud. The property is GORGEOUS! It is the stuff vacation dreams are made of. It is conveniently located NEAR Ubud city center so you’re close enough for convenience but are not smack dab in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The staff were top notch and made the whole experience wonderful. They have amazing amenities and delicious food. We highly recommend getting the iced vanilla latte. Sounds basic but it was BOMB!"
