"We rented this place for Royal Ascot. It was perfect for our group. The area was beautiful, the house was exactly what we were looking for. The commute to ascot was also very easy. Definitely would stay again!"

I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. "Nice cottage in a quiet location situated in the grounds of the host's property. Good location for exploring Hampshire and New Forest. Able to take our dog off walking in the woods from the back garden. Lovely farm shops nearby."

"There is no parking at the property. It’s pot luck on roads around the property!! I received a parking ticket during my stay having specifically booked because the listing said parking. The beds were really comfortable, but some of the cleanliness and condition of things was questionable. There’s also a really noisy neighbour who blares television through the wall until 12pm. Shame, it had so much potential."

"The best thing about this property was the staff, all were great, but one Zara was exceptional. Zara made our stay and others in my extended families stay notable. She took care of us from check-in to check-out, especially my grandnieces with special treats. Listen up Village Hotel Management, you have a gem in Zara and her customer service skills and empathy for guests should be taught to all staff. On this trip I stayed in six hotels from London to Paris to Amsterdam, but I can say that the Village Hotel stay was the second to none because of Zara. "
