"Yes, the lake view was peaceful. Unfortunately, it was windy for a couple days but none of us can control the weather. We had a few beautiful days and really didn’t enjoy our ourselves. Thank you so much for letting us rent your property."

"This easily could have been a 5 star stay but the cold weather had a big impact. The pipes froze overnight on the 2nd of 3 nights so I didn't have water the last day and a half of my stay. The main tv was broken and had to use a smaller one on the side table. Also the fireplace heater was broken and the small portable heaters could not keep up with the cold, when I woke up the last morning it was probably 45 inside. Again, nothing that could be controlled by the host. I will definitely be coming back and give it another chance"

"If peace and quiet is what you seek, this is a good place in beautiful hill country, close to Lake Buchanan. There are window units for a/c. A little bit cluttered with all the things collected, the porch is great and they even have a hammock in the backyard."
