"Was greeted on arrival and shown amenities and room , very pleasant and warm welcome. The entire place was so clean and fresh and had a warm atmosphere. The room was great , free tea,coffee etc, and shower gel,shampoo, conditioner. Bed was really comfortable and had a good night sleep. Clean throughout and up to date decor .Tv was nice to watch before sleeping. The shower was nice in the morning. "property located in a quiet residential area located at 20 minutes walk from town centre .property is a bid dated and could do with a bit more cleaning .no much water coming for the shower ,bed and sofa bed very uncomfortable and we had a cockroach visiting while we were there .we found a trap under the sink in toilet therefore business must be aware of issue. not many choices for a family room in the area especially at last minute but we won’t return in this hotel "

"Super convenient with self check in which is great when arriving late. Radiator was on full so room was super hot but it cooled quickly with the window open and radiator off. Unfortunately this let a lot of marijuana smoke into the room from somewhere. Shower was surprisingly good Reasonably convenient for the train station. "

"The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area."

"When I arrived it said there was a reception at the rear. There was nothing but a locked door. I was lucky that there was a fellow guest who could let me in and ring the manager. When I got in the room it was unmade from the previous guest, the sheets where dirty, there were bedsheets in the washbasin, dirty towels on the bed, the two towels that were folded up and put in the wardrobe were stained. The duvet smelled of urine. All in all very dirty and you'd be better going somewhere clean."

"It was perfect for the lone female business self employed traveller and had everything I needed , fridge, microwave. These were a godsend. Only thing I would change is the height of the basin and mirror in the bathroom . I’m a average height female at 5’ 4” and the basin and mirror are set at a 6’2” male I’m sure lol apart from that all good would definitely stay again :) "

Comfortable convenient hotel
"Great hotel on the edge of town. We parked mid day with no problem and the desk is 24 hours so we left everything in the car and checked in just before midnight with no issue. They'd warned us that there was an event on that night but there was no noise or disruption that we could tell. The bed was the biggest I've seen - very comfortable. The shower was great - good pressure and temperature. The only slight negative was the really creaky floor - but that was probably worse for who ever was underneath us."
