"I found The Lodge while searching for a hotel room to stay in for my daughter’s volleyball tournament in Chattanooga. I had to be very precise with location because I didn’t want to be too far from where the tournaments were being held. The location was perfect. On either side of the mountain, there were stores if we needed anything, and we were very close to the convention center downtown. The price was extremely affordable, and everything that came with the room made it well worth it. I’m an avid review reader, so I always read reviews before booking. I can honestly say our room was very clean, we had plenty of towels, and there was lots of space. The air conditioning worked great (which can be hit or miss at hotels, so I was a little concerned). Y’all—the beds were incredible. It felt like sleeping on a cloud, and you couldn’t feel the person next to you move. It was the best sleep I’d had in a while. The microwave and refrigerator both worked great, and I also loved having the sink just in case we needed it. We did have an issue with the bathroom door being broken and not shutting all the way. While that wasn’t ideal, we let them know as soon as we noticed, and their response was very quick. One small thing to note: the trash cans provided in the kitchenette and bathroom are quite small. Bathroom trash cans are typically small, so that wasn’t an issue, but I would recommend a larger trash can for the kitchenette area. Other than that, we loved our stay and would definitel"

"Location to the areas of interest was great. The hotel rooms were well appointed and well kept. The indoor pool was just the right size for our grandson and was in good condition. However, the shower drained slow, the refrigerator door was challenging to open and close because of the tray underneath (had to lift refrigerator above the tray while trying to open the door) and in one of the rooms in our party the commode would not flush as long as the shower was running. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, coffee, a pancake maker that made pancakes so flat that you have to have two to make one. Only apples for the fruit, unknown brand of yogurt (watery), cereal and instant oatmeal packets. NO MEATS! But, overall, the family enjoyed our short stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel…it is in close proximity to a Waffle House and Crackerbarrel as well as other restaurants and businesses!"
