"Staff were exceptionally helpful, hotel was being renovated but this didn't impact our stay. Room was clean and tidy. Slight issue with the room key but sorted quickly at front desk. Great location, did use cheaper car park 500ms away to save on our trip."

"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

"Filty from the entrance to the kitchen and toilet. I coukd not have a shower or use the kitchen. The room is fine. The advert says private bathroom but it was shared. I had to go downstairs to the back of the kitchen to get to the toilet. Wont come back. "

"This was such a lovely gem of a place to find. The owner was super friendly, absolutely loved the room and the space and coolness during hot summer. Thank you for also giving me a choice of the room. I will most certainly book again"

"This hotel is very convenient if you are visiting Keele university. The staff is lovely and the restaurant in the hotel is great for dinner or breakfast."

"We used to stay here many years back when visiting relatives in the area. Now it has turned into a Spa Resort, great for those who like and want to be pampered, no problems there, but we did find the restaurants evening menu is now very restricted for choice., plus there was always cold blasts of air, making it very uncomfortable to dine. Back in the day the then Ostler restaurant was far superior"
